Welcome to the International Studies major at the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences!
International studies is an interdisciplinary major that provides extensive course offerings for students interested in gaining a greater understanding of the world outside the United States. The major allows students to develop concentrations under the broad umbrella of either art and culture on the one hand, or history, law, and government on the other.
International studies also provides students with the opportunity to strengthen their foreign language skills and experience other cultures through study abroad. From "the world community" to "the global economy," international studies provides students with an ideal platform to launch a career in a host of international related fields.
Sincerely,
