Model United Nations Conference

Open to South Florida high school students

NSU’s award-winning Model United Nations team (NIRA: the Nova International Relations Association) hosts an annual Model U.N. conference for South Florida high school students each Fall. This annual event brings student delegates from local high schools to the NSU campus in Fort Lauderdale/Davie, Florida for a full day of debating global issues and working within the parameters of an actual UN General Assembly meeting. This event is led entirely by NSU students. The 2017 conference welcomed more than 120 Broward County-area high school students to the NSU campus.
