Professional Interests

Sabrina Talamo is a professor, choreographer, and dancer from Miami, Florida. She received a B.A. in both Dance and Communication Studies from Nova Southeastern University and an M.F.A. in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied under the direction of Sara Rudner. Talamo has performed in venues across New York and Florida including The Joyce Theater, Dia Beacon, St. Marks Church, and The Adrienne Arsht Center. She has performed in renowned works including Martha Graham’s Primitive Mysteries, and Yvonne Rainer’s Trio A, under the personal guidance of Rainer, a legendary artist and pioneer of postmodern dance. In 2013, Talamo made her New York choreographic debut with 90 Miles at the Maguire Theatre. She is currently an Adjunct Professor of Dance at Broward College, Miami-Dade College, and Nova Southeastern University.
