Charles Malenfant has been an academic librarian and a computer instructor as well as an English professor. He tries to combine all three in his Composition classes so that his students gain information literacy skills, become (more) tech savvy, and are able to express their ideas creatively and persuasively in a paper, as a presentation or online. Malenfant’s poetry has appeared in The Red Rock Review, The Cimarron Review, and other journals. His M.F.A. thesis project, Mao in Paris, was published by Palanquin Press. He has also published book reviews and information literacy research. He is currently working on a series of paintings exploring the boundaries between image and text.
