Message from the Chair
Welcome to the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies!
This department is committed to giving students a chance to chart a unique path and engage in real-world experiences through practicums and internships. The M.A. in Cross-disciplinary Studies exemplifies that commitment by allowing graduate students to take classes in disciplines of their choosing. Students in our two undergraduate degree programs, the B.S. in Applied Professional Studies and the B.S. in General Studies, also have distinctive opportunities to engage in multidisciplinary study through electives and concentrations.
We are also proud to offer the most unique M.S. in College Student Affairs as it combines courses in student affairs and courses in conflict management and resolution. Our graduate certificate in College Student Personnel Administration is designed for those with a master’s degree already or those exploring the field.
The graduate certificate in Qualitative Research enhances students’ knowledge and skills and may be taken in addition to a degree program, as a part of the M.A. in Cross-disciplinary Studies, or as a post-graduate program.
I invite you to explore our programs and contact me with questions. I’d love to hear from you!
