Tangier Scott, Ed.D., serves as an Adjunct Professor and Field Associate at Nova Southeastern University, primarily in the area of Leadership Development. As a Certified Kingian Nonviolence Trainer, she has facilitated many conflict resolution seminars around the U.S. Additionally, she is the President and CEO of Soar EZ, Inc., a consulting firm that assists organizations and companies with program implementation, leadership and needs- driven staff development training.
Her expertise in the area of program development has won her a National Association of Counties Award. Dr. Scott’s expertise, skills, and experience have earned her the privilege to speak to many different audiences at local and National Conferences in as New York, Florida, Missouri and other locations around the nation.
She also works as a team manager for Miami-Dade County's Community Action Agency and manages a diversion program for adolescents. As manager of this community enrichment center she is responsible for its overall operation and supervises an interdisciplinary staff.
Her interest in public service and empowering others has prompted her to contribute her many talents and gifts to aid organizations, such as, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Weed and Seed, The City of Miami Civilian Investigative Panel, and the National Council on Family Relations.
