Donna Revtai, M.A., has been an Adjunct Professor of Composition at Nova Southeastern University since 2005. She has taught Basic Writing, College Writing, Advanced College Writing and Writing About Literature. Previously she presented conference papers with a special interest in feminist issues for the Science Fiction Research Association and the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts. This interest grounds her Master’s thesis which focuses on P..L. Travers’s first two books of the Mary Poppins series.
She also enjoyed performing with students and colleagues in two NSU theater productions, The Women of Lockerbie and Dead Man Walking. She has participated in the Friends of the South Regional Library, the Association of American University Women and the Theta Phi Alpha Alumnae Association. As a volunteer for the Broward County schools, she served in the Meet the Masters Art Appreciation program and as a member on two School Advisory teams, frequently earning a Motorola Educational Foundation Volunteer Grant for the schools she served.
