Professional Interests

Robin Gall, Ph.D., has been teaching as an adjunct since 1997, starting with ground based chemistry classes/labs for Broward Community College. She teaches for the Broward College Fire Science Program in the online format. Several years ago, she developed an online forensic overview elective course within the CJI Master’s Program. She worked for the Broward Sheriff's Office Crime Lab in Fort Lauderdale from 1996 to 2010.

Most recently, she managed the trace evidence, drug chemistry, and questioned documents units. Previously, her management duties included the firearms unit and administrative staff. She also worked trace evidence cases including the analysis of fire debris from suspected arsons. Dr. Gall is certified by the American Board of Criminalistics as a fire debris fellow and has many years of experience with fire investigators through forensic work and teaching.
