Professional Interests

Melissa De Vincentis, Ph.D., is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Her concentration is on supporting families who have children on the autism spectrum, specifically empowering parents and professionals through a combination of psycho-educational and behavioral interventions. She has over 10 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities and was a behavior specialist for one of the largest preschools in the country for children with autism. She specializes in conducting functional behavior assessments, creating ABA based home and school programs, and systemic family therapy. Additionally, she has consulted in school systems and trained professionals both nationally and internationally on best practice techniques when working with families and children with ASD.
