Model United Nations Conference

Open to South Florida high school students

NSU’s award-winning Model United Nations team (NIRA: the Nova International Relations Association) hosts an annual Model U.N. conference for South Florida high school students in October. This annual event brings student delegates from local high schools to the NSU campus in Fort Lauderdale/Davie, Florida for a full day of debating global issues and working within the parameters of an actual UN General Assembly meeting. This event is led entirely by NSU students. The 2015 conference welcomed more than 150 Broward County-area high school students to the NSU campus.

Mock Trial Skills Workshop

Open to South Florida high school students

The NSU Undergraduate Mock Trial Team will host its first Mock Trial Skills Workshop in the Fall 2016. This workshop series brings South Florida high school students to the NSU campus in Fort Lauderdale/Davie, Florida to learn key skills involved in mock trial competition from attorneys and NSU faculty.
